Character Alchemy is a weekend intensive workshop entirely focused on creating improv comedy characters on the fly. Participants will hone their skills at creating interesting comedic characters, characters that complement or contrast the existing scene, and encourage in character comedic responses to offers in the scene. Improv comedy experience is expected to ensure a weekend of devoted to character creation.

This is an advanced class and a solid grounding in improv basics is expected. A solid grounding in improv basics means a working skill with the tools of LACE, STEPS and TRIANGLE.

Your instructor is Suzanne Paquin. Suzanne is a professional improviser previously working at Vancouver Theatresports. Suzanne has decades of improv comedy performance and teaching under her belt.
