Come learn or brush up your musical improv skills with the talented David Tosh. This musical improv intensive is happening in the Elaine May theatre space from 1-4pm in the afternoon of Saturday June 7th. David (he/him) is a music improviser and music director with 10 years of experience leading groups in musical improv. Focus-in on details like rhyming, rhythm, melody and emotion, and zoom-out to see the big picture: learn how it all comes together based on the needs of the scene you find yourself in. Practice games, scene-into-song, and more. $50 entry to the intensive includes entry to the beehive music improv jam 7-9pm that same night (if you bring at least one friend to come witness you rock it on stage!). Sliding scale available for those with economic constraints- everyone should be able to come learn this fun beautiful, freedom-inspiring art form regardless of financial situation.
