“HOT in The Hammer” is an event series presented by local Dominatrix MISTRESS CECILIA.
Monthly HOT in The Hammer events explore themes related to sex, kink, erotica and all things HOT in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. 
In the coming months, watch for storytelling, skill sharing, panels, lectures, comedy and so much more.
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 20: “/s is for submission”Many of our “HOT in The Hammer” events have explored the Femdom side of the BDSM world, but we’re going to switch it up in September. We will be looking at the lower case side of the slash, so to speak, hearing submissive types speaking for themselves!
Our host Mistress Cecilia will be making introductory remarks on the general topic of submission, and interviewing an intriguing guest panel of submissive players. My question to each: what does your submission mean to you?
Let’s talk about “submission” in BDSM. What is it? I mean, what is it really? Is it mainly about obeying orders, or is it something more? Let’s explore!
Classically trained Dominatrix Mistress Cecilia will talk about the very basics behind her mentor’s teachings on submissive psychology, as well as her own thoughts on the subject, and she will share some of her varied experiences.

Enjoy The Staircase Cafe for drinks and refreshments before you join us next door at the Elaine Mae Theatre, which is the small beige coloured building that is immediately south of the main theatre complex at 28 Dundurn Street South. Our event doors open at 7pm, before the start at 7:30pm. The event wraps up at 9pm.
Admission is $10 (cash only, please) and attendance is limited to individuals aged 21 and over.

HOT in The Hammer’s BACKGROUND :
Come check out the evening that local kinksters are talking about!
The first event in the HOT in The Hammer series took place on February 23, with the Canadian documentary film “tOuch Kink” and a Q&A with the filmmaker Max Candy.
The second event on April 19 was “Domme School Confidential”, when Mistress Cecilia shared the story of her first fetish club adventures in pre-millennial Toronto, to becoming a professionally trained, mentored, and certified Dominatrix.
The third event on May 17 was a “Kinky Comedy Open Stage/Story Share” where our host and the participants shared the stage (or shared from where they were seated) telling their own personal, funniest kinky story ever. It was a blast, and the event’s attendance nearly doubled.
In June we met local Dominatrix Mistress Cherry Leatherchaps to learn about her ten years (so far!) as a professional FemDomme.
We skipped July because of the Hamilton Fringe Festival.
In August we had another Special Guest: Cherry Poppin Suzie, a sexual wellness entrepreneur and budding stand-up comedian! Portions of that interview will be available soon on our upcoming YouTube Channel!
