THE 70 MILE YARD SALE is an acclaimed solo show written and performed by comedian and storyteller JUSTIN SHAW (JFL42, Yuk Yuks, Sirius XM). As part of a 2024 nation-wide tour, this show is making a ONE NIGHT ONLY stop in Hamilton, Ontario at The Staircase on Sunday, September 8th.
Inspired by Prince Edward Island’s 70 Mile Coastal Yard Sale, THE 70 MILE YARD SALE is a one person show about a wild journey across Prince Edward Island to retrieve a lost family heirloom from a gargantuan yard sale. Comedian and storyteller Justin Shaw takes his audience on a ride that is equal parts funny and heartfelt, spinning a fun-filled yarn about family, friendship, and finding more than what you bargained for. Get ready for the madcap adventure filled with heart and laughter in this unique piece of theatre.

About JUSTIN SHAW:
Justin Shaw is a comedian and storyteller originally from Prince Edward Island (and if you’re also from Prince Edward Island, his dad probably knows your dad.) He has performed on JFL42 at Just For Laughs Toronto, has appeared on Mike Birbiglia’s Working It Out comedy show, has opened for Fortune Feimster, while touring regularly with Yuk Yuks across Canada. He develops his own solo shows that are a unique blend of theatre, standup, and storytelling, with his work being featured on his TV series Tales From Island Boy on Bell FibeTV1. An avid writer, he is also a working playwright with his works produced by Feast Dinner Theatres.
