Hamilton: city of steel. The mighty furnaces of this city glowed hot as coal and iron were fused to form the steel the bones of the industrial revolution. They made steal, yes. A shitload of steel. But they also made a lot of slag.
Slag: the discarded impurities, the refuse and the garbage thrown aside as worthless.

Join us for the first in what will be a monthly series of shows at the Staircase Theatre hosted by Sean Cullen with his tiny musical child Mark Edwards. Comedians, Musicians and and performers drawn from the Canada’s finest polish their nuggets before your very eyes in the city where slag is king
