Join Kay Fraser as she explores the question, “How do we rebuild after life falls apart?” in her debut solo spoken word show.

Multi-disciplinary artist Kay Fraser employs personal narrative and storytelling to explore the question, “How do we rebuild?” after all the pieces (of life) seemingly fall apart in her debut solo spoken word show, Mama Always Wanted to be an Architect.

Told in two parts, Kay strikes a balance between individual musings and social commentary; poetry and music; to navigate the internal and external landscapes that ultimately (and perhaps tragically) make, shape and break us as individuals and as a whole.

So what do we do with what’s left behind? How do we rebuild? Can we? Join Kay as she delves deeper into these queries, and reveals a truth at the heart of it all in this intimate and provocative public workshop performance.

This show is made possible by a Creation Grant from the Ontario Arts Council.
