On acoustic guitar with a looper pedal\, keyboard and lap steel Bob will replicate the show Floyd played that night in 1975\, and then perform an encore set of other Pink Floyd selections (including your requests). \n About the artist: \nBob Wegner is a Hamilton-born (now making home\, Montreal)\, multi-instrumentalist\, music historian\, writer\, editor and radio showhost. \nHighlights of his musical career include being selected by Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor \nto play guitar in multiple productions of the “We Will Rock You” musical. His coffee table book and \ncomprehensive history of the legendary rock outfit Max Webster called “High Class” was endorsed by the band’s frontman Kim Mitchell\, reviewed by many of Canada’s biggest publications\, and sold out its first pressing with a second on the way. His radio show on Montco Radio in Pennsylvania called “Bollocks with Bob” reached thousands of listeners\, and his archival work has had him credited in no less than a dozen books and other publications. He has played hundreds of solo acoustic guitar shows where he performs complete albums by artists like Pink Floyd\, Led Zeppelin and Yes\, usually \naccompanied by hilarious and embarrassing stories. \nInfo about the venue: \nThis event takes place in the front room (Lounge + Cafe) of The Staircase Theatre (27 Dundurn St N\, Hamilton). DESCRIPTION:https://www.litlivereadings.com/ \n\n\n\nLitLive is monthly reading series in Hamilton\, Ontario\, Canada. \nFounded by Hamilton writer Kerry Schooley in 1995\, Lit Live is a monthly literary reading series featuring a diverse and exciting range of writers from across Canada and from Hamilton. We meet on the first Sunday of each month from September to June\, and our location is The Staircase. We also livestream our events (click here). \nWe are unusual in that we have poets\, novelists\, short story writers\, non-fiction writers\, and sometimes YA writers on the same bill\, each reading for about 15 minutes. Also\, each event is themed (“Languishing\,” “Play\,” “Diversions\,” etc.) and we encourage our writers to engage with the theme as they see fit. \nThe series has developed a reputation for its warm and engaging atmosphere with an enthusiastic\, attentive audience of both regulars and those who attend to hear a specific favourite writer. Hosting duties for LitLive are shared between committee members Anuja Varghese and Brent van Staalduinen. \nThe series has featured legendary writers\, major names and the winners of major awards (the GGs\, the Giller\, the Griffin)\, established writers with one or more books to their credit\, but also regularly has a spot for “emerging writers\,” those talented up-and-comers who haven’t yet published a full length book.  \nLitLive readings are supported by the Ontario Arts Council\, the Canada Council\, the Writer’s Union of Canada\, the Hamilton Arts Council\, and the League of Canadian Poets.
