Mask Mandatory Performances:

This year at The Staircase / Hamilton Fringe 2023, we prioritize the health and safety of our attendees and performers. In accordance with current guidelines and recommendations, select shows will have Mask Mandatory performances. During these performances, all attendees must wear masks that cover both the nose and mouth for the entire duration of the show. This requirement ensures a safe environment for everyone attending and minimizes potential risks. Please remember to bring your own mask to the performance. By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively contribute to a safe and enjoyable experience at The Staircase during the Hamilton Fringe 2023.

Relaxed Performances:

This year The Staircase / Hamilton Fringe 2023, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive experience for all audience members. As part of the festival, select shows will offer Relaxed performances. These performances are specifically designed to provide a welcoming and accessible environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities, neurodivergent conditions, or anyone who may benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere. During these shows, we make adjustments to minimize sensory stimuli, such as reducing loud sounds or sudden lighting changes. Attendees are welcome to move, make noise, or take breaks as needed. Our trained staff will be available to provide support and assistance, ensuring a comfortable experience for all. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy and engage with the arts, and our Relaxed performances at The Staircase during the Hamilton Fringe 2023 aim to make that a reality.
